Finland is transferring the 10th batch of defense aid to Ukraine. The cost of the new shipment is €55.6 million.

The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Finland announced this.

The combined value of all defense materiel packages transferred by Finland to Ukraine by now is €160.4 million.

“Ukraine continues to need support in defending its territory. The range of defense materiel being sent now is largest so far,” says Antti Kaikkonen, Minister of Defence.

At the same time, it is noted that the transferred aid corresponds to Ukraine’s request and takes into account the resource situation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As previously reported, OSINT researchers have repeatedly recorded weapons from Finland used by the Ukrainian military. These include different means – from grenades to armored vehicles.

Thus, it was identified that the military of the Defense Forces is using Finnish-made m/50 fragmentation grenades.

The Ukrainian military is also armed with Finnish 120 Krh 85 92 120mm heavy mortar. These are heavy mortars of the Finnish Vammas.

It was also reported that the Ukrainian military is using Finnish Sisu XA-180/185 armored personnel carriers.

XA-180 is a modern Finnish armored personnel carrier developed by the Sisu in the early 1980s at the order of the Finnish government. The vehicle uses a modified Sisu SA-150 commercial truck base.

Serial production of the XA-180 has been ongoing since 1983, and over this time, approximately 1,000 vehicles of this type were produced in various modifications.

23 ItK 61 anti-aircraft guns are in the service with the Territorial Defence. This is the Finnish version of the Soviet-era ZU-23.

Also, Finnish instructors will be involved in training the Ukrainian military.
