Russia’s invasion forces are trying to prevent the Defense Forces of Ukraine from regrouping in five directions.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook.

The Russians also fired various artillery at several settlements.

According to the General Staff, the enemy is trying not to let Ukrainian units regroup in the Lyman, Avdiivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavlivske, and Zaporizhzhia directions.

In the Lyman direction, two enemy Su-25 planes launched an airstrike near Pryshib village. Mayaki village has suffered from a missile strike.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy Su-25s also struck Shevchenko and Vuhledar.

Ukraine’s defense forces continue to hold Severodonetsk, urban warfare continues in the city.

Soldiers of the Special Operations Forces spoke about enemy tactics and their own tasks during the city battle.

The Russian invaders take full advantage of their shell stock and strike regardless of whether target areas have troops. Thus, inflicting significant losses on civilians.

Ukrainian special forces said that the invaders use a large amount of artillery to destroy settlements first, and only then move forward.

The General Staff noted that the Defense Forces of Ukraine effectively thwart enemy attempts to storm Ukrainian positions on the outskirts of Sievierodonetsk.
