Drones Launch Another Attack on Tornado-S MLRS Facility in Tula

The NPO Splav in Tula, a developer and manufacturer of multiple launch rocket systems, was once again targeted in a morning attack.

Eyewitnesses managed to film the moment of the strike on the territory of the Splav State Research and Production Association (NPO Splav) in the morning of May 26, 2025.

Meanwhile, the CyberBoroshno community, using available photo and video materials, was able to geolocate the strike site, which is likely the same workshop that was previously attacked on April 7, 2025.

Geolocation of the filming site, located at coordinates 54.2159603, 37.6759219, allowed determining the direction in which the recording was made. This confirmed that the explosion had occurred on the territory of the Russian enterprise.

It is worth noting that this is already the second attack on NPO Splav this month. On May 7, 2025, strike drones hit the plant’s territory, having caused thick smoke to rise into the sky and a fire to break out.

Photographic evidence confirms that the facility, which is currently a leading enterprise in developing and producing multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), heavy flamethrower systems, ammunition for them, as well as unguided and guided missiles, was struck.

Based on the analysis of photo and video materials by the Cyberboroshno community, it was determined that the attack had targeted a production building of NPO Splav at coordinates 54.222495, 37.692874 — approximately 330 km from the Ukrainian border.

Militarnyi previously reported that a Ukrainian drone strike had destroyed a newly built workshop at the Scheglovsky Val plant in Tula, Russia, a facility known for manufacturing the Pantsir-S1 air defense system.

The new workshop, built on the enterprise’s territory as part of the production expansion in March 2025, was destroyed during the drone attack on May 7, 2025.

The destroyed building is located at coordinates 54.226747, 37.697645. The factory has been targeted before. In January 2024, drones of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine attacked the Shcheglovsky Val military plant. The plant manufactures Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft systems.
