A combined attack by Ukrainian naval and aerial drones hit the Russian coast guard base on Lake Donuzlav.

A combined drone attack by the Security Service of Ukraine was reportedly carried out last night.

According to the sources, this strike damaged and disabled the headquarters, which included a control post, a depot of ammunition and equipment, an electrical substation, technical facilities, and firing positions.

“Last night, the Russian navy conducted exercises to protect the waters of Lake Donuzlav in Crimea. Thanks to the SSU drones, these exercises were a failure, as the Russians were unable to defend even their base, not to mention the lake area,” the sources said.

The released video shows a Ukrainian naval drone landing on a target in Lake Donuzlav while Russians fire at it with small arms and other powerful weapons.

A naval drone camera captures several powerful explosions on the shore or near the pier, where the invaders’ boats could be located.

In the last seconds of the video, a Russian boat, which was probably hit by a naval drone, is spotted in the camera lens.

Presumably, it was a KS-701 Tuna type boat, which Ukrainian Magura V5 naval drones had previously attacked in temporarily occupied Crimea.

On the morning of July 18, the Crimean Wind Telegram channel published a video of a fire near Lake Donuzlav, where eyewitnesses heard explosions at night.

On the morning of July 18, NASA’s Firms space-based fire monitoring system also detected a fire near the village of Novoozerne, which is located on the shore of the lake. The Russian invaders’ military facilities are there.

Also, the fires were recorded at a greater distance from the lake. This may indicate strikes by unmanned aerial vehicles.
