Dronarium Academy and the Ukrainian Association of Drone Pilots Gnizdo Ltd are launching a joint project in Poland – Ptaki Dronarium – to train drone operators.
Dronarium reported this to Militarnyi.
The new association will establish training centers to train operators of all types of unmanned systems, including underwater, ground robotic systems, and FPV and interceptor drones.
It is emphasized that this is important right now, after Russian drones massively flew into Polish airspace on September 10, 2025. Thus, the threat has turned from hypothetical to real.
“We want to share our expertise with our allies. Our task is to train civilians, volunteers, reservists, and representatives of the defense forces so that they have the most modern tools and can act in the event of a direct threat,” the project participants said.
Training courses within the Ptaki Dronarium (dronariumbirds.pl) will include the development of:
“The course for training interceptor drone operators will last from one month, depending on the initial level of training of the cadet. We are currently completing all the necessary bureaucratic procedures and plan to officially launch Ptaki Dronarium in about 20 days. Already today, we have about 700 applicants for various programs: from FPV and multirotor to anti-aircraft drones and other unmanned systems,” Ruslan Belyaev, founder of Dronarium Group, shared.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has shown that drones are a key element of the modern battlefield. Their role in reconnaissance, attack, defense, and logistics is unparalleled by traditional approaches.
It requires not theoretical lectures but knowledge tested on the battlefield.
Dronarium Academy is a defense tech training and R&D platform that trains operators of air, ground, and underwater unmanned systems for the Armed Forces and international partners.
NGO “Ukrainian Association of Drone Pilots ”Gnizdo Ltd” is a Ukrainian association of military and civilian operators of unmanned systems, created to develop drone piloting, share experience, and improve the professional level of piloting and striking.
