On the night of November 29, Ukrainian forces executed a series of strikes on Russian territory.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the attacks.
One of the primary targets was the Beriev aircraft repair plant in the city of Taganrog in the Rostov region. The facility handles the modernization of Tu-95 strategic bombers and A-50 airborne early warning aircraft.
According to preliminary information, the strike caused a fire in a Tu-95 repair shop.
Another target was the infrastructure at the Tuapse port offshore oil terminal. The destruction of an RV-5000 vertical tank was confirmed.
The tank has a capacity of 5,000 m³ and is used for storing oil and petroleum products.
In addition, Ukrainian forces struck the Afipsky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar region. The plant plays a key role in supplying fuel to Russian military units.
According to the Operational Headquarters, the fire covered about 250 sq. m and damaged part of the technical equipment. No damage to storage tanks was reported.
The plant has a design processing capacity of about 6.25 million tons per year. It produces gasoline, diesel, gas oil/vacuum gas oil, fuel oil, sulfur, and gas condensate distillates.
The facility is also the only provider of water supply, wastewater treatment, and electricity transit services for nearby settlements and industrial sites.
According to ASTRA, Ukrainian surface drones also disabled the Caspian Pipeline Consortium’s (CPC) marine terminal in the Novorossiysk area on Wednesday morning.
One of the berthing structures sustained critical damage in the attack, rendering it inoperable.
