The Come Back Alive Foundation, together with Lviv and the Lviv City Council, launched the Zbroienosci (Squires – Ed.) project.

The Come Back Alive Foundation reported on this on its social media pages.

Within the project, they have launched a fundraising campaign to raise UAH 200 million to provide four brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with comprehensive and competent supplies.

The military plans to purchase mortars, machine guns, automatic grenade launchers, drones, pickup trucks, and electronic warfare (EW) equipment.

Weapons will be supplied to:

  • 24th “Daniel of Galicia” Mechanized Brigade;
  • 80th Separate Galician Air Assault Brigade;
  • 68th “Oleksa Dovbush” Jaeger Brigade;
  • 128th Mountain Assault Brigade.

“Each of them ensures the defense of our Donetsk region, and therefore, each of them needs reinforcement and your support!” the Come Back Alive Foundation emphasized.

The following will be purchased jointly for these brigades:

  • 120mm mortars – 36 units;
  • 82mm mortars – 36 units;
  • Mk 19 grenade launchers – 40 units;
  • All-wheel drive pickup trucks – 40 units;
  • Electronic warfare systems – 40 units;
  • Drones (DJI Mavic 3) – 100 units;
  • Thermal imaging quadcopters (DJI Mavic 3T) – 140 units.

The Foundation called on all concerned people to join the campaign intended to support the Ukrainian army in confronting the Russian invaders.

The Zbroienosci (Squires -Ed.) project is a comprehensive solution for combat brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Each component of the initiative solves its own task. Electronic warfare systems increase the unit’s survivability, drones ensure the effectiveness of the use of weapons, transport is responsible for mobility and speed of response, weapons will fill the staffing requirement for certain collective infantry weapons,” the Come Back Alive Foundation team shared.

The Foundation previously purchased a new signal intelligence system from a NATO country. This system allows the detection and identification of enemy UAVs and the tracking of their routes.

The Charitable Foundation stated the system has already been handed over to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU). The cost of the new effective electronic intelligence system transferred to the DIU is UAH 18,808,785.
