The Come Back Alive Foundation handed over new loitering munitions to the Black Forest artillery reconnaissance brigade.
The foundation representatives stated they had delivered a batch of 17 attack drones.
The batch of new Ukrainian-made loitering munitions cost UAH 31.2 million.
“UAH 31,227,300 of your donations turned into 17 fixed-wing loitering munitions for the ‘Black Forest’ Brigade, which operates along the entire front line,” the foundation stated.
These Ukrainian-made strike drones are capable of flying up to 60 kilometers.
They are designed to destroy air defense systems, radars, and electronic warfare systems.
“They can also be used for counter-battery warfare,” the foundation added.
‘Black Forest’ is the only artillery reconnaissance brigade in the army. It also received means of detecting remote targets from the foundation.
“The munitions have already been sent to the army and are prepared to catch the enemy off guard. They are capable of delivering precise and effective strikes that the invaders deserve,” the foundation stated.
The foundation does not disclose the specific characteristics of these Ukrainian drones, but it is likely that they are expensive systems designed to counter Russian electronic warfare, enabling them to operate safely behind enemy lines.
Previously, a batch of these loitering munitions was also provided to the Ukrainian military by the KOLO Foundation.
As reported previously, the Ukrainian defense company United Military Solutions has developed a loitering munition called Stick M12.
