The Come Back Alive Foundation has purchased a new signal intelligence system from a NATO country.
The charitable foundation stated the system has already been handed over to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU).
The cost of the new effective electronic intelligence system transferred to the DIU is UAH 18,808,785.
“Your donations made it possible to purchase a military-grade EW system in one of the NATO countries and deliver it to the special forces of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine,” the foundation said.
This system allows detecting and identifying enemy UAVs and tracking their route.
“It even allows us to show the location of the enemy drone operator,” the foundation said.
Using this system, DIU specialists can identify which frontline areas the enemy is closely monitoring for potential future attacks and which areas receive less attention.
This enables them to operate unnoticed and cause various types of damage to the invaders.
“It was a long and difficult track, as we are talking about a military product, but this complex is incredibly effective,” the foundation said.
It is several times more accurate than its Ukrainian counterparts and allows for detecting 3–4 times more drones.
Ukraine also produces electronic intelligence systems that have been used by the military for a long time.
In May 2024, the Khmelnytsky City Council provided Ukrainian tank crews with the Azimuth signal intelligence system, developed in Ukraine. The Azimuth station detects and locates unmanned vehicles by tracking the radiation signals from their onboard systems.
