Ukrainian benefactors significantly strengthened the 22nd Mechanized Brigade by supplying adverse terrain vehicles.

The Come Back Alive Foundation said that the soldiers of the 22nd Mechanized Brigade have received pickup trucks.

On Ground Forces Day, the Come Back Alive Foundation, in collaboration with NPC Ukrenergo, addressed the urgent needs of the 22nd Mechanized Brigade.

Through collaborative efforts, 15 brand-new pickups were procured and delivered to the front lines, enhancing the mobility of the military.

The provided assistance, will enhance the maneuverability of the military, as these vehicles are already deployed in the East of the country and distributed among the fighting units.⁣

The total cost of procurement is UAH ??,5 million.

“This is not the first and won’t be the last batch for the soldiers of the 22nd Mechanized Brigade, who are defending Ukraine in one of the most dangerous areas,” stated the foundation.

New vehicles are needed for the evacuation of wounded, as well as for the prompt delivery of ammunition, property, and fighters to the positions.

“This is one of the main needs of this war. Thanks to 15 new pickups purchased by Ukrenergo, we will save many of our defenders and remove more invaders from Ukrainian lands,” the fund noted.

The new Mitsubishi pickups are made in the fifth generation L200 variant.

The cars went on sale in 2015. In 2018, the model was updated, completely changing the appearance and equipment.

Recall that cars are used for various purposes. Mobile groups with Mistral anti-aircraft missile systems were created on the basis of pickups in Ukraine.
