The Ukrainian Charitable Foundation “Come Back Alive” bought a drone worth UAH 18.6 million for the air reconnaissance units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the “Air Intelligence” reported.
“The Raybird 3 UAV is capable of supporting the fire adjustment at a distance of up to 120 kilometers and can direct the missile system “Tochka-U” fire onto targets. “Tochka-U” warhead weighs almost 500 kilograms,” – said in a statement.
The drone’s speed is 140 km/h, the operating ceiling is 3.5 kilometers, and the flight time is 24 hours.
The drone is also equipped with a camera that can send real-time Full HD video in the range of 120 kilometers.
The system composition includes an unmanned aerial vehicle, a launch system, a ground control station, and a data link.
Earlier, the Air Reconnaissance Unit has discovered and destroyed russia’s unified command and staff vehicle.
A unified command and staff vehicle (UCSV) R-149MA1 marked with the Latin letter “V” was located at the position of the russians.
The Ukrainian unit made a decision to eliminate the russian military vehicle.
R-149MA1 is designed to sustain the administration and communication of the officials at the tactical level during parking and on the move.
“Air Reconnaissance” is a Ukrainian combat unit that monitors enemy forces with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles and video surveillance systems. It was founded by volunteers.
