Chinese troops use mockups of American aircraft for training purposes.

Satellite images showing these mockups were published online.

Among them, mockups resembling new-generation American aircraft, such as the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II, were spotted.

The mockups are located at a desert training ground used by the People’s Liberation Army for live-firing missiles and dropping aircraft bombs.

Among the mockups in the photos, it is noticeable that some are damaged, and others are completely burned.

In addition, the mockups could have been used by the People’s Liberation Army Rocket Force, which previously carried out attacks on military targets simulating airfields with aircraft.

The use of these mockups may indicate that China is deliberately preparing for potential conflict with the United States and American allies that use F-35 fighter jets, including Japan, Singapore, Australia, South Korea, and potentially Taiwan.

According to some Western experts, the use of mockups of American aircraft may also be related to the development of special software for missiles with infrared homing heads, designed to capture a target based on a preloaded silhouette.

In addition to the mockups of American aircraft and airfields, China has constructed a special model of one of the districts of Taiwan’s capital, Taipei.

This replica of a city district could be used by the Chinese military to train infantry units and to carry out precision strikes on buildings.

Militarnyi previously reported that the training ground includes several roads and buildings that schematically replicate the traffic junctions and structures of the Boai district in central Taipei, where the office of the Taiwanese President, the Legislative Yuan (parliament), the island’s foreign ministry, and other government buildings are located.

At another training ground in Inner Mongolia, Zhurihe, a detailed recreation of the neighborhood near the office of the Taiwanese President and the adjacent traffic intersections has also been constructed.
