Chechen military units of Ukraine use DIY multiple rocket launchers on the front lines.
Footage using the systems was shown by Sheikh Mansur Battalion soldiers.
The MLRSs belong to the 28th Mechanized Brigade, but Chechen soldiers are involved in their use.
The photos released show the launch of S-8 80mm aviation unguided rockets.
The systems for these rockets were mounted on the back of a light SUV.
One such DIY rocket launcher can launch 18 unguided aircraft rockets.
Control is carried out through a special remote control panel, and the firing process itself is as automated as possible.
Aircraft-unguided rockets have a caliber of 80mm and are designed to destroy the equipment and manpower of the enemy from the air.
At various points in time, S-8 missile carriers included attack aircraft, bombers, fighter-bombers, and various types of helicopters.
In Ukraine, the production of unmanaged aviation missiles was carried out by the “Artem” State Joint-Stock Holding Company.
Recall that five Chechen volunteer battalions are fighting for the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The Sheikh Mansur Battalion has been fighting Russian invaders since 2014. The initiator of the creation of the Battalion named after Sheikh Mansur was the social and political movement “Free Caucasus,” which was created in 2006.
