In Mexico, the La Línea cartel has launched a drone strike against the Sinaloa Cartel, using a drone equipped with a munition-dropping system.

User War Noir shared the footage of the attack.

The incident marks yet another case of drone warfare between rival cartels, this time in the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua.

Militants of the La Línea group – the armed wing of the Juárez Cartel – carried out an aerial strike on members of the Sinaloa Cartel.

The use of drones to drop explosives is becoming increasingly common among armed non-state actors, both in inter-group conflicts and by anti-government paramilitary forces.

Militarnyi previously reported that the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) has begun deploying FPV drones with fiber-optic control in operations against the Turkish military.

The drone was equipped with an improvised explosive device, which detonated after hitting the position.
