A mass survey of young people for the needs of the Bundeswehr has been launched in Germany.

Young men and women are being sent paper letters with a QR code for the questionnaire, according to Deutsche Welle.

The form contains personal data and 14 questions about the respondent’s education, work, and physical parameters.

Separate items also indicate knowledge of foreign languages, driver’s license category, and physical limitations.

Candidates are also asked about service in foreign armies and other citizenships.

This point is likely related to the earlier discussion about people with dual citizenship, particularly Russian.

As is already known, German youth must rate their interest in service on a scale from 0 to 10.

They must also indicate their desired term and date of commencement of military service.

In addition, this form allows respondents to choose their branch of service: army, air force, navy, cyber forces, or support.

All young men are required to complete the questionnaire, while for young women it is voluntary.

All young men will undergo a medical examination, regardless of their interest in service, while those who are interested will be invited for further consultation.

Recently, it was reported that Ukrainian veterans are planned to be invited to teach at military schools in Germany.
