British volunteers donated 20 civilian vehicles to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported on this.

The British-Ukrainian Aid charitable foundation donated the vehicles to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The vehicles will be delivered to the units of the Northern Operational-Territorial Command of the National Guard of Ukraine, the Separate Commandant’s Office for Security and Support, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the Azov Brigade’s patronage services, and the Separate Presidential Brigade for medical and evacuation needs.

“The units of the Northern Operational-Territorial Command received 10 vehicles from a volunteer fund with the assistance of the Mayor of London. Most of the vehicles are passenger cars, they will be distributed to rear units, which will allow us to withdraw vehicles that are appropriate for use at the front line,” Roman Stadnyk shared.

Stadnyk also thanked the volunteers for their work and for contributing to the provision of property, vehicles, etc., to military units.

The charitable foundation’s representatives noted that residents of London donated their cars under the ULEZ program to various units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and to patronage services for humanitarian and medical purposes.

“From the UK, the convoy of cars was accompanied by representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine, headed by the newly appointed Ambassador, General Valerii Zaluzhny, and world heavyweight boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the UK Government and the British people have organized a number of volunteer funds to support Ukraine.

One of these areas is the transfer of civilian vehicles to the Defense Forces, as well as the purchase of vehicles from the British Army’s army reserves.

Militarnyi previously reported that British farmers donated more than 35 off-road vehicles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The vehicles included such models as Mitsubishi L200, Toyota Hilux, Nissan X-Trail, Land Rover Defender, etc.
