Richard Moore, Head of the U.K. Secret Intelligence Service, stated that putin’s invasion plans had always included the summary executions of civilians.

Richard Moore also noted that the executions were to be carried out by military units of russian troops, as well as members of russia’s special services.

“We knew Putin’s invasion plans included summary executions by his military and intelligence services. The reports of execution-style killings of civilians emerging from liberated areas are horrifying and chilling,” he posted on his Twitter account.

This was the Head of British Intelligence’s response to the message from Liz Truss, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom.

“We must hold to account those responsible for the appalling acts committed by Russian troops in Bucha, Irpin, and elsewhere in Ukraine. Putin’s regime will not be allowed to cover up their involvement in these atrocities,” she said.
