MK Foundation donated 100 cargo vans to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
The press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on this.
These vehicles will strengthen border guard units in the war zone.
The transferred Volkswagen Transporter vans have a roomy body and high reliability.
In some versions, the vans are equipped with all-wheel drive, which ensures good off-road performance.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine noted that since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the MK Foundation had handed over 313 Volkswagen Transporter vehicles to Ukrainian border guards.
As well as two Iveco trucks and three ambulances.
In June, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine received a batch of Mercedes Arocs trucks from Germany.
41 vehicles were transferred to border guard units, which are an integral part of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
These trucks have improved the logistics system and will ensure the delivery of military equipment directly to the border guards units.
In addition, Germany has also provided the Ukrainian border guards with a mobile repair shop based on a MAN truck, which has a special trailer container and a crane for lifting loads weighing up to 3 tons.
This repair shop is equipped with electric tools, mostly battery-powered, that increase the repair capabilities of technicians. It was handed over to the Luhansk border guard detachment, which repairs the equipment on its own.
