Border guards in Donbas, found and detained a man who was trying to carry out a sabotage.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that after the saboteur was detained, border guards together with agents of the Security Service of Ukraine searched the saboteur’s residence.

As a result a large number of explosives, a Bicfort cord, ammunition and grenades marked with the russian federation were found in the man’s possession.

The detainee was handed over to the National Police of Ukraine.

His identity and the composition of the offense are being clarified.

Border guards continue to perform combat missions to protect the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, working together with the Armed Forces and other units of the Defense Forces.

As reported earlier, soldiers of the border service struck at the occupation forces of Russia in Luhansk region.

“Reflecting the enemy’s attacks in the east of Ukraine, our defenders do not allow the invaders to go on the offensive,” the border guards said.

During the combat, Ural trucks were destroyed and the MT-LB armored personnel carrier of the so-called “2nd Army Corps of the Luhansk People’s Republic” was seized.
