Joe Biden, the President of the United States of America has promised to ensure that Ukraine has enough weapons to defend itself against Russia.

He made this statement during a speech on March 11th, 2022 at the White House.

I want to be clear – we will make sure that Ukraine has weapons to defend against invading Russian forces. We will. We will send money, food, and aid to save the Ukrainian people, Biden said.

Also, today the Ukrainian and American presidents had a telephone conversation. Per Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s tweet, the conversation was about defense.

Had a substantive conversation with the President of the United States. Gave him the assessment of the situation on the battlefield, informed about the crimes of Russia against the civilian population. We agreed on further steps to support the defense of Ukraine and increase sanctions against Russia, Zelenskyi wrote.

Earlier, Tod Wolters, Commander of the U.S. European Command, stated that the most effective way to support Ukraine is through additional air defense and anti-tank weapons.
