Soldiers of the 98th Separate Battalion of the Azov Territorial Defense carried out counteroffensive actions.

The soldiers of the Battalion reported that during the operation held in one of the directions, Russian manpower was neutralized.

“During the successful counterattack of the 98th Azov Battalion against the enemy’s position, several Russians lost their worthless lives,” soldiers stated on their social media.

As previously reported, the 98th Separate Battalion of the 108th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducts combat operations in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk Regions.

Initially, this battalion was engaged in neutralizing saboteurs, but very quickly switched to extraterritorial representation.

Currently, in coordination with the Special Operations Forces, the battalion is actively working on the southeastern borders.

The battalion also serves as reinforcements in the Zaporizhzhia Region and Kherson Region.

It is under the command of Rodion Kudriashov, the Azov Regiment veteran and member of the football fan movement of Ukraine.

At the beginning of the war, many people without combat experience joined a separate battalion, but at the same time, many of them managed to undergo training.

Veterans, many of whom passed the hotspots of 2014, take on the main work.

As previously reported, recently the soldiers of the Azov SOF Regiment released a video of the landing assault and showed how they occupied the enemy’s positions and took prisoners.

Then the soldiers managed to enter from a favorable position and break the threshold.
