The Ukrainian military continues to destroy military equipment of the invaders in the Kherson region.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine have managed to hit a tank and a towed gun of the Russian military the other day.

On the left bank of the Dnipro River, the Russians are trying to camouflage and hide their armored vehicles.

However, on the outskirts of the city of Hola Prystan, Ukrainian intelligence discovered a tank that was hidden in a building.

As a result of well-fired shots, the tank was completely destroyed, being left with the turret torn off from the combat vehicle.

The Ukrainian city of Hola Prystan has been under Russian occupation since February 2022.

Also on the left bank, the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade destroyed Russian artillery near the village of Nechaive.

“Aerial intelligence found a disguised Russian cannon in the southern direction. Our gunners did not miss their chance and after a successful “hunt” destroyed the enemy’s Giatsint gun,” the military said.

To defeat the Russian 152mm 2A36 Giatsint-B gun, Ukrainian gunners used the 155 mm M777 howitzer.

The camouflaged gun was hit with the American M982 Excalibur 155mm high-precision projectile.

The accuracy of these ammunition literally transforms an artillery weapon into a sniper weapon. According to the manufacturer Raytheon, it will take up to 10 conventional shells to achieve the accuracy of one M982.

Excalibur is an extended-range guided artillery shell and its firing range depends on the artillery system. At the same time, it is extremely important that these projectiles can be fired from any modern artillery system of the NATO standard.
