Work on updating the Tucano was carried out by the Argentinian Redimec. The planes were modernized to meet the current needs of the military and to extend their service life.

The update includes a new multifunction display, as well as new communication and navigation systems.
Internal and external lighting systems were adjusted on the training aircraft.
Work on the modernization of the first four aircraft began in December 2021.
The engine control systems of the aircraft are duplicated, and the latest methods of risk and failure analysis and their consequences are used to ensure that the aircraft will operate in different flight conditions without inconvenience and with less strain on the crew.
Almost all information for pilots on the updated aircraft is provided in digital format.
The EMB-312 Tucano is a single-turboprop basic training aircraft developed by Embraer. The aircraft was developed in two variants: T-27 for training missions and AT-27 for combat missions.
