Ukrainian artillerymen are mastering the AS-90 self-propelled howitzers during exercises in Great Britain.
The video footage of the training was published by Ukrainian Pravda journalists.
Part of the exercise that was captured in the video is a training session at a landfill where the military is practicing maneuvers.
The Ukrainian servicemen also train on British Challenger 2 tanks and Bulldog APCs at the same training ground.
Special simulators are used to sharpen skills on Challenger 2 and AS-90.
Simulators allow to learn how to work with ammunition and study the systems of combat vehicles.
Ukrainian military training under Operation INTERFLEX is also ongoing. As part of these exercises, 19,200 military personnel are planned to be trained within the year.
Instructors from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, and Finland are also working with Ukrainians.
As previously reported, the Ukrainian military arrived for artillery exercises at the beginning of February. The Ukrainian military will receive 30 AS-90 self-propelled howitzers from Great Britain.
AS-90 is a British 155mm self-propelled artillery system developed by BAE Systems.
In total, the British Army has received 179 units. The ACS have armed six artillery regiments. AS-90 has replaced the 105 mm FV433 Abbot and M109 self-propelled guns, along with trailed 155 mm self-propelled FH70.

The turret of the AS-90 is used in the production of Polish Krab self-propelled guns, which are also in service with the Ukrainian military.
