An enemy drone was shot down in the Podilskyi district of Kyiv at the site of the explosion, which set fire to the Oshchadbank’s building.
According to journalist Andriy Tsaplienko, an explosive device was found inside the UAV.
Judging by the published photos, this is a Russian kamikaze drone KUB-UAV. The basic version of it was tested in 2019.
The drone was developed by Zala Aero.
It is developed based on the “flying wing” scheme with a pushing air propeller in the tail part and is launched from a catapult.
The length of the drone is 95 centimeters and the wingspan is 1.2 meters.
It can spend up to 30 minutes in the air, reaching a speed of up to 130 kilometers per hour.
The maximum utility load of the KUB-UAV is three kilograms.
