Russian emergency services have localized the fire at the oil depot in Feodosia in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The new satellite imagery shows that Russian emergency services have completed the fire localization at the JSC Marine Oil Terminal, which started as a result of the attack on October 7, 2024.

Thus, the fire affected 12 tanks used to store oil products, of which eight were completely destroyed.

Also, in addition to the tanks, the buildings on the facility’s territory burned down.

As previously reported, units of the Rocket Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, attacked the oil depot in Feodosia in temporarily occupied Crimea on the night of October 7.

The marine oil terminal in Feodosia was hit as part of the measures to undermine Russia’s military and economic potential.

This terminal is the largest in Crimea in terms of transshipment of oil products, which were used, among other things, to meet the needs of the Russian invasion army.

Its storage capacity is 250 thousand cubic meters. There are only two such terminals on the peninsula, and another one is located in temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

It should be noted that attack drones have already attacked the JSC Marine Oil Terminal in March 2024.

Four attack drones hit the facility, damaging the main fuel-pumping pipeline and causing a fire.

In addition, the same oil depot had already been attacked in December and November last year.
