Fire Point has increased the payload capacity of its FP-2 strike drones to 200 kilograms.

Company co-owner Denis Shtilerman discussed this in an interview with TSN.

Thanks to changes in the wing design, the drone can now achieve a flight range of up to 370 kilometers with this payload.

Fire Point has also switched to using its own engines for the FP series of drones.

“Thanks to the scaling up of production and the switch to our own engines and components, we have also managed to reduce production costs,” said Shtilerman.

The modernization of the strike drones also made it possible to use them as carriers for FPV drones and unguided aerial missiles.

The FP-2 replicates the design of the long-range FP-1 drone, which is used to strike targets deep behind enemy lines.

The FP-1 was first publicly unveiled at a defense exhibition in Kyiv in May 2025, although the drone was already being used in combat operations at that time.

It is designed to strike strategic targets on enemy territory at a range of up to 1,600 kilometers, but has a smaller warhead than the FP-2.

The FP-1 is equipped with a two-cylinder engine and has a wingspan of about 2.5 meters.

In turn, the FP-2 is designed for operational-tactical strikes.

In addition to drones, Fire Point is also working on FP-7 anti-aircraft missiles, which are capable of intercepting ballistic missiles.
