The Ukrainian company UADEFENSE has presented a line of unmanned aerial vehicles designed to perform a wide range of battlefield tasks.
Militarnyi’s correspondent reports on this from the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The updated model range includes three key drones: the logistics POSTMAN, the MAGMA bomber, and the SHADOW reconnaissance and strike UAV.
The POSTMAN unmanned aerial vehicle is designed for battlefield logistics. It is a multi-purpose drone capable of autonomous missions, flexible communication redundancy, and Starlink support. Its key advantages include resistance to electronic warfare, a payload of up to 75 kg, and a range of up to 20 km with a full load.
POSTMAN’s technical specifications include a diagonal of 2,630 mm, a maximum takeoff weight of 150 kg, and a top speed of 14 m/s. It is equipped with 146,000 mAh batteries and three communication systems, including control at 500–1,100 MHz and 5–6.1 GHz with RFC. The daytime camera records in Full HD, while the thermal imaging camera has a resolution of 640×512.
The second model, MAGMA, is a high-performance hexacopter designed for versatile strike missions and capable of launching from a ground-based robotic system.
MAGMA features universal bomb mounts for 1.2 kg and 2.7 kg munitions, as well as 60 mm, 82 mm, and 120 mm mortar shells. It can carry up to six rounds of ammunition and fly at altitudes above 80 meters.
The drone has a carbon-aluminum frame, a maximum payload of 25 kg, and an operational radius of 15-20 km. Maximum flight time with a full load is 55 minutes. The targeting system uses a 640×512 camera with a 9–19 mm focal length.
The third UAV, SHADOW, has a combat operational radius of up to 70 km. Its advantages include resistance to electronic warfare, remote control from anywhere in the world, and automated mission execution. The drone supports remote launch and functions as a striker.
SHADOW measures 1,150 x 1,150 x 350 mm and has a standard takeoff weight of 27 kg. Maximum flight time is 70 minutes at an operating altitude of 150-500 meters.
The SHADOW navigation system includes redundant GNSS and automatic monitoring of electronic warfare activity. If the signal is jammed, the drone continues its mission using onboard sensors. After leaving the interference zone, navigation data is automatically corrected, while the operator can still manually control the system at all stages.
The SHADOW communication system operates at 12 GHz. The drone is powered by 85,000 mAh batteries and is equipped with daytime Full HD and thermal cameras with a resolution of 256×192.
