In the area of Berdychi and Tonenke, the Armed Forces of Ukraine bring down assault units of the Russian Federation

In the Avdiivka direction, the Defense Forces inflicted losses on Russians, who tried to advance to the Ukrainian positions.

The Russian command sends small groups to storm in the area of the villages of Berdychi and Tonenke.

The Ukrainian military said that in the area of the village of Tonenke, they had managed to disrupt the assault of Russians using FPV drones.

Attack drones hit the MT-LB armored personnel carrier, which transported Russian troops.

Then the occupiers’ infantry tried to escape, but Ukrainian FPV drones continued hitting them.

Also in this direction, Russians continue trying to advance in the area of the village of Berdychi.

In the area of the village, the Ukrainian military hit the BMP-3, which had a set of 688M-SB3KDZ additional protection kit.

Near the combat vehicle, several Chinese Desertcross-1000-3 vehicles were also neutralized with the infantry of invaders.

On February 16, the Ukrainian General Staff said that in the Avdiivka direction, the military had repelled 26 Russian attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke and Pervomayske.

Recently, Dmytro Lykhovyi, spokesman of the Tavria operational-strategic group, noted that there was reason to believe that the main strike of Russians was aimed at that time at Tonenke and Berdychi.

“There is reason to believe that this is where the main strike of Russians is sent, because there are most airstrikes, most guided bombs, which the enemy uses to support the infantry offensive. Well, in fact, the infantry there is very active,” said Dmytro Lykhovyi.

Lykhovyi said that the infantry constantly tried small assault groups with the support of armored vehicles to carry out assault actions.
