Unknown saboteurs carry out operations in Moscow and Kaluga regions of Russia

On the night of September 24, unknown saboteurs conducted operations in the Moscow and Kaluga regions of Russia.

This was reported by the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

It is reported that a fuel tanker was destroyed on the territory of a military town near the village of Kalininets, Naro-Fominsky district.

This military town belongs to the 2nd Guards Motorized Rifle Division (military unit #23626).

It is known that the 2nd Guards Motorized Rifle Division is involved in the Russian-Ukrainian war; at least its 1st Tank Regiment in February–March 2022 advanced on Chernihiv.

In addition, saboteurs also destroyed 4 units of automotive equipment with trailers on the territory of military camp #60 of the armament arsenal (military unit #42702) in Kaluga.

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine noted that photos and videos due to operational security reasons will be published later. The types of destroyed equipment are not reported.

Recall that on September 20, it was reported about saboteurs who planted explosives and blew up aircraft and a combat helicopter at the Russian Chkalovsky Air Base in the Moscow region.

Unknown persons at the airfield planted explosives and blew up An-148 and IL-20 aircraft, as well as a Mi-28N helicopter, which had been actively involved in the shooting down of attack drones over the Moscow region.

It was also reported that Ukrainian intelligence services were behind drone strikes and a ground operation aimed at the Wagner PMC-backed militia of Sudan.

This assumption was made by CNN based on its own investigation.

According to journalists, the operation included a ground component and a series of drone attacks on the paramilitary group of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which had the support of Russian Wagner mercenaries during the struggle against the Sudanese army for control of the country.
