The Come Back Alive Foundation has purchased 208 UAVs worth over UAH 22 million for the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The Foundation published the report on its social media.
A total of 104 DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise UAVs were purchased, the other half being drones in the Enterprise Thermal version with night optics.
Since the beginning of the year, the Foundation has donated 2643 UAVs for the needs of the military.
Militarnyi previously reported on the transfer of a large batch of DJI Mavic UAVs.
“Thank you for your regular support not only of the projects but also of the general accounts of the Foundation! It is thanks to them that the daily needs of dozens (and maybe hundreds) of units and subdivisions are met,” commented Taras Chmut, Director of the Foundation.
It was recently reported that DJI Mavic drones are being purchased by the Chilean army.
17th “Los Ángeles” Mountain Detachment of the Chilean Army has received Mavic 3T and Mavic 3 Classic UAVs for terrain patrolling.
The DJI Mavic 3 is a civilian UAV designed and manufactured by the Chinese company DJI.
The maximum flight radius of the drone is 30 km, and its flight autonomy without wind is about 45 minutes.
Civilian drones from this manufacturer are widely used by both sides on the battlefield.
Their main tasks are reconnaissance of the terrain directly on the contact line, adjustment of artillery fire, and dropping light ammunition.
