Two groups of Ukrainian trainers have been trained outside Ukraine that are supposed to pass this knowledge and skills to their colleagues on how to use American artillery systems.

This was reported by the U.S. Department of Defense, CNN informs.

A Pentagon official said the first group had “just over 50 people” while in the second group there was about 50.

Training for the Ukrainian military “will last as long as necessary,” the official said.

He also noted that the United States is helping with transerring Ukrainian instructors outside Ukraine for training and getting them back to Ukraine. All transportation “begins and ends outside Ukraine.”

The United States also trained a group of about 15 Ukrainians to operate U.S. radar systems handed over to Ukraine. This training will be pursued.

As reported earlier, the United States is loading another batch of aid to the Defense Forces of Ukraine. It consists of 155-mm howitzer ammunition.
