In Germany, the US Department of Defense establishes a control center for military aid for Ukraine.

Militarnyi informs about this.

The control center was established to coordinate shipments and streamline the delivery of military assistance to Ukraine to combat Russian aggression.

A senior US defense official shared this information with the reporters on Tuesday, CNN reports.

The EUCOM Control Center of Ukraine, or ECCU, is based at the US European Command headquarters in Stuttgart, and is run by a US two-star military general, the official said.

The center will be working closely with the International Donor Coordination Center, or IDCC, which is run by a one-star general from the United Kingdom, the official added.

“This was set up to support this security system’s efforts,” said the US official.

The control center in Stuttgart, along with the US personnel, includes the staff from 15 other supporting nations, the official said.

The control center will also manage the network of over 40 partner and allied nations that met in Germany earlier on Tuesday at Ramstein Air Force Base and are providing assistance to Ukraine.

This new group of allies will meet once a month, announced Lloyd Austin, US Secretary of Defense earlier on Tuesday.
