Ukraine has mapped a plan for the deployment of allied forces to deter Russian aggression after the ceasefire.

Ukrainska Pravda reported on this.

The statement was made by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a panel on Strategic Investment: The Future of U.S.-Ukraine Security Cooperation.

The Head of State has already discussed the issue of peacekeepers with the Presidents of the United States and France, as well as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

“Our military has already done its homework and I have not yet shared it with our allies, but we already have a map with the number and types of troops of our partners where they should be (on the territory of Ukraine – ed.),” Zelensky said.

He believes that this issue should be considered together, without dividing Europe and the United States.

Zelensky added that if NATO is not available to Ukraine, he would like to have such an army. In addition, in his opinion, such an army would be larger than other alliances.

Speaking at the annual international security conference in Munich, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that in order to defend our country against Russia without NATO, the army of our country should have 1.5 million soldiers.

This is due to the number of Russian troops, which has already reached the authorized strength of 1.5 million soldiers, and the total number of soldiers is up to 2 million 389 thousand.

As part of this deployment, two new military districts were created – Moscow and Leningrad. The aggressor also plans to deploy troops in Karelia in the form of a corps, create three motorized rifle divisions as part of the ground forces and two divisions of the Russian Airborne Troops.

“They have 220 [Russians], and we have 110 combat brigades today. So we need 220,” Zelensky said.

Zelensky estimated Ukraine’s annual security budget without NATO at $40 billion a year. If the army is increased to 1.5 million, the funding should be about 60 billion.
