Zelensky: Ukraine Begins Producing Interceptor Drones Together with the U.S.

Ukraine and the United States of America have launched joint production of interceptor drones.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced this in an interview with Bloomberg.

According to him, it is a joint venture. The Head of State also expressed hope for expanding cooperation.

“This is a joint American-Ukrainian production. I hope that in the future we will have more of such projects,” the President said.

Zelensky did not specify which model of interceptor drones was meant for their intended purpose – whether to shoot down reconnaissance UAVs or the Shahed drone, which Russia uses to attack Ukrainian cities every night.

The Ukrainian President previously announced work on a Drone Deal agreement between Ukraine and the United States, which envisions the purchase of Ukrainian drones and their joint production.

The Head of State also reported that as of November 12, more than 150 Russian Shaheds had been shot down by interceptor drones since the beginning of the month.
