Zaporizhzhia Region: Ukrainian Drones Strike Two Russian S-300 Systems

In the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian forces hit two air defense systems from an S-300 complex.

The operation was carried out by the Lasar’s Group unit, the Ukrainian Air Force, and the 15th Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade.

First, Ukrainian drones destroyed a Russian Palantin electronic warfare system. Then, Ukrainian forces struck the enemy’s air defense systems.

Lasar’s Group organized a hunt for S-300 surface-to-air missile systems with support from aerial reconnaissance of the 15th Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade ‘Black Forest.’

Through coordinated intelligence analysis, Ukrainian forces identified the location of Russian air defense systems.

Lasar’s Group then struck:

• a 9A83 launcher from the S-300V system
• a 9S32 multi-channel missile guidance radar from the same S-300V system

“These systems were hindering the operations of Ukrainian aviation. However, Ukrainian forces cleared the way, and Air Force units destroyed a Russian UAV control center,” the unit stated.
