Zaporizhzhia Region: Defense Forces Received Drones, Electronic Warfare Systems and Vehicles Worth Almost UAH 130 Million

Ukrainian defenders fighting the Russian invaders in the Zaporizhzhia region have received drones, electronic warfare systems and machinery worth almost UAH 130 million.

The head of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov announced this.

This assistance was handed over to 45 units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in January this year.

In total, the military received more than 1500 FPV drones and DJI Mavic drones, as well as more than a thousand additional equipment for the drones, power supplies, night vision devices, ammunition, and communications equipment.

Also, the Ukrainian defense received more than 100 electronic warfare (EW) systems, without which it is now impossible to imagine a modern battlefield.

In addition, the soldiers holding the line in the Zaporizhzhia region received dozens of unmanned aerial systems, ground robotic systems and buggies that allow them to move over rough terrain.

In December, Militarnyi reported that the community of the Zaporizhzhia region had purchased and handed over 150 DJI Mavic day and night drones to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Along with the drones, the military received signal amplifiers for better flight.

Previously, Ukrainian defenders from the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade captured Russian soldiers who were trying to seize their positions.

The video posted by the soldiers captured Ukrainian soldiers disarming the Russian stormtroopers and providing them with first aid, after which they were escorted further to the rear.

The details of the battle are not reported in the post, but it is reported that the 65th Brigade was fighting in the Zaporizhzhia direction near Robotyne village.

Shortly before this, the soldiers from the Ronin unit of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade had struck enemy Tor-M2 and Buk-M3 air defense systems using FPV drones deep in the rear.
