Windracers Has a Team in Ukraine to Support ULTRA Drones

The manufacturer of ULTRA logistics drones has deployed a team of technical specialists in Ukraine and plans to further expand its presence in the country.

This was stated in an interview with Windracers representatives for Militarnyi.

The company notes that it has been supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine for more than three years, providing assistance to frontline units through its proprietary logistics drone system.

Windracers regularly receives feedback from operators in field conditions, which is used to improve the platform by increasing its resilience, extending its flight range, and enhancing reliability in challenging operational environments.

The company has already established a team of its specialists in Ukraine and intends to continue expanding its operations there.

“We are here for the long term and are open to cooperating with various companies to achieve the best results,” the company shared.

Windracers is working with local technology companies to integrate specific components and maintain the unmanned aircraft.

ULTRA

ULTRA (Uncrewed Low Cost Transport) is a heavy logistics unmanned aerial vehicle developed by the British company Windracers. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have been using it for several years to transport cargo over long distances.

The platform features a modular architecture, can carry substantial payloads, and can perform precise cargo drops at designated locations.

The drone can transport more than 150 kilograms of cargo over a distance exceeding 1,000 kilometers, with an endurance of more than 10 hours.

ULTRA has a service ceiling of over 4,000 meters. It is equipped with short takeoff and landing capability, allowing it to operate from confined or improvised sites.

The platform can be tactically deployed within minutes and is suitable for operation both day and night, including in fog and other low-visibility conditions.

In addition, the company has reported the possibility of upgrading the ULTRA platform, which would increase its flight range to up to 2,000 kilometers while simultaneously boosting payload capacity.
