NGO Sprava Hromad has handed over mobile workshops and trucks to the Ukrainian military.
The press service of the foundation reported on this.
The volunteers purchased five mobile workshops based on Leyland Daf 4×4 trucks. They come with a kungs with all the necessary equipment for vehicle repair.
A mobile tire changer was installed on one of the donated vehicles. It will be used to provide tires for the army’s HMMWVs.
The military also purchased a heavy Foden tow truck, seven-ton Daf trucks, and six laundry and shower trailers.
It is reported that the equipment will be transferred to the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces and the Kharkiv Territorial Defense Brigade.
The total cost of the purchased vehicles and related equipment is UAH 15 million.
As previously reported, the Come Back Alive Foundation has delivered two mobile maintenance workshops to two units of the Logistics Forces.
Each workshop is equipped not only with standard maintenance tools but also with additional equipment: a manipulator, generator, compressor, and mobile tire changer.
These mobile maintenance workshops were developed by the Foundation’s specialists, taking into account the experience, wishes, and requests of the military.
Due to this equipment, the workshop is able to “reanimate” cars, HMMWVs, and other wheeled armored vehicles of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the field.
It is noted that in 2022 and 2023, the Foundation transferred ten mobile maintenance workshops to the Army.
