In Ukraine, volunteers began to produce convertible medical modules for the Armed Forces.
New modules have already been shipped for the Ukrainian Marines and Air Defense Forces.
Ukrainian company Interlegal, together with the volunteer center “Na Khvyli” (On the wave – ed.), is processing containers into mobile medical modules.
It is noted that 2 new kits have already been shipped – 2 modules each to the Marines of the Navy and the Air Defense Forces of Ukraine.
Volunteer center “Na Khvyli” continues to produce laundries and showers container modules for the Armed Forces in the frameworks of the “Ukrainian Warrior – clean and tidy” project, said Skorobogatov.
The mobile sanitary modules (shower and laundry) are designed on the basis of 2 containers.
Containers can be placed stationary, or can be placed on mobile platforms and move across military units.
Retrofit of two containers (shower and laundry) takes up to 2 weeks and costs $4,800.
In 2021, the Armed Forces received mobile bath and laundry complexes produced by the domestic enterprise of the Kryukiv Railway Car Building Works from the city of Kremenchuk.
Mobile complexes for the Armed Forces of Ukraine are made on the basis of MAZ vehicles.
One of the modules contains a compartment for linen and clothes washing, drying and ironing.
The technical compartment, placed at the back, contains diesel generator units of autonomous power supply, as well as special equipment for connecting to an external power supply. Another trailer container provides a mobile bath module in which it is possible to heat water using both liquid and solid fuels.
