The Russians published a video from the Russian landing ship Caesar Kunikov during an attack by Ukrainian MAGURA V5 naval drones.

Russian propaganda media released the video.

According to the Russians, the ship was attacked by 10 drones, four of which were allegedly destroyed. One UAV hit the landing ship in the stern and immobilized it, most likely damaging the propulsion system.

After that, the following kamikaze drones took turns hitting the port side of the ship in the middle of the hull and closer to the stern in order to “put” the ship on board, which they eventually succeeded in doing.

The Russians added that one drone entered the hole and detonated inside.

The battle with the Ukrainian MAGURA drones reportedly lasted only 20 minutes, and considering the time the drones approached the landing ship, it took 40 minutes.

The propagandists report that the crew left the ship on life rafts with no casualties among the crew.

According to them, the 10th kamikaze drone, which recorded the sinking, tried to attack the tugboat accompanying the landing ship Caesar Kunikov but was destroyed by the anti-sabotage unit on board the ship.

The video shows that the crew tried to fight off the drones with heavy fire with heavy machine guns and small arms, with targets illuminated by searchlights.

As previously reported, the Caesar Kunikov sank on February 14 in the territorial waters of Ukraine near Alupka.

The MAGURA V5 is a new generation multi-purpose unmanned surface vessel developed in Ukraine.

As a kamikaze drone, it can engage enemy surface ships, both at sea and at military bases in bays. For this, it can carry up to 320 kilograms of explosives.
