VATAG Heavy UGV Presented in Ukraine

The VATAG heavy unmanned ground vehicle was presented in Ukraine.

This is a multifunctional UGV capable of transporting more than 2 tons of cargo, operating autonomously thanks to a hybrid power plant, and performing a wide range of tasks – from logistics to combat operations.

The platform is capable of transporting weapons, performing engineering work, and supporting combat operations in a complex environment.

The available features include a hybrid propulsion system with high fuel efficiency, a silent mode for covert operations, the ability to operate as a mobile power bank for units, weapons integration, EW resistance, and autonomous GPS-free navigation with convoy mode and obstacle avoidance.

VATAG’s architecture includes not only the ground system itself, but also a 25 mm combat module of its own design and AI software and hardware solutions for further development of autonomy.

The project was implemented by an international company with 11 years of experience in robotics and drones.

The developer has a production base that allows it to quickly deploy mass production and adapt components to customer needs.
