Canadian armored vehicle manufacturer Roshel announced the delivery of Senator ERV armored vehicles to US law enforcement agencies on the island of Guam.
According to Roshel founder and CEO Roman Shimonov, Guam has become a new point on the map for the company’s international deliveries, Defence Blog reports.
He described the island as an essential hub for US forces and confirmed that Roshel is continuing to expand the global reach of its products.
The number of vehicles delivered was not disclosed. The Senator ERV is designed for operations in both urban and remote areas.
The vehicle is powered by a 6.7-liter diesel V8 engine producing 330 hp and 750 Nm of torque. It features a 10-speed automatic transmission, 4×4 all-wheel drive, and can carry up to 12 personnel.
Roshel notes that the Senator ERV offers the best protection-to-weight ratio in its class and high rollover resistance.
With its low fuel consumption and air-conditioned interior, the vehicle is well-suited to Guam’s tropical climate.
