In a report from Donbas, American journalists showed footage of the Ukrainian servicemen armed with “Javelin” ATGMs, reports Militarnyi with reference to the American TV channel ABC News from Donbas.
The front line in the Joint Forces Operation area was visited by journalists of the American TV channel ABC News.
In his report, ABC News told that tensions on the Ukrainian border are growing after President Joe Biden’s conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
Journalists also visited the city of Avdiivka and demonstrated training of the Ukrainian military personnel with “Javelin” anti-tank guided missiles in Donbas.
The Ukrainian military usually does not show “Javelin” near the front line, but ABC News correspondent has published exclusive photos with them in the JFO area.
An ABC News reporter also said that the military had told him about several engagements with using American anti-tank missiles.
“This is part of the aid about which Putin is signaling that it is unacceptable for Russia. We were told that these were used only for a few times,”- told ABC News journalist Patrick Revell.
Ukrainian journalist Andrii Tsapliienko also visited the JFO area, and published a photo with the Ukrainian serviceman armed with “Javelin” ATGM.
Andrii Tsapliienko stated that he had witnessed with his own eyes the presence of American weapons in Donbas.
“Those, who think that “Javelins” are covering with a dust in our warehouses, are very wrong. The JFO personnel will not hesitate if Russian tanks attack them, “- Andrii Tsapliienko said.
It will be recalled that, recently, the commander of the Joint Forces Operation Oleksandr Pavliuk said that the unit armed with “Javelin” anti-tank missiles is part of the JFO forces.
