Unmanned Systems Forces Strike Starobeshevsk TPP in Donetsk Region

At night, strike drones of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck Starobeshevskaya TPP in the village of Novyi Svit, Donetsk region.

Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, commander of the USF, reported on this.

The military released a video of a series of drone strikes on the thermal power plant.

According to the commander, this is the combat work of drone operators of the 1st Separate Center of the USF (transformed 14th Regiment of the USF).

The video taken by the drone cameras before the strike shows several centers of ignition from the explosions after the hit.

Starobeshevsk TPP has a declared electric capacity of about 2300 MW and is the main power supply facility in the occupied territories.

The previous attack on this TPP took place on the night of November 12. A fire was reported there.

In addition, Robert Brovdi confirmed tonight’s strike on the Zuivska TPP in the temporarily occupied Zuhres, also in the Donetsk region. FP-2 drones with a powerful warhead executed the strikes.

Local publics reported that after the explosions, there were power outages in occupied Donetsk, Makiivka, and Ilovaisk, with power completely cut off.

The so-called Russian occupation “authorities” also claimed problems with the electricity supply on their resources.
