More than 100 Ukrainian UAV units have already mastered the Mission Control module.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said that thanks to the Mission Control module, more than 550 missions were effectively carried out every day.
This innovative module is part of the DELTA combat system developed by the Innovation Center of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The Innovation Center not only develops combat systems, but also implements other digital solutions for the Ukrainian army, such as cyber defense of military organizations and the SAP System Analysis Program Development.
Mission Control optimizes the management of UAV units in real time and reduces the risk of friendly fire. The module shows where UAV crews are working.
“It is like a calendar for planning the work of employees and their involvement in events,” the Defense Ministry said.
Thanks to frequency management, it is possible to form a queue of UAVs for departure in one area.
Currently, the module is being used in test mode by 130 units that perform 550 missions daily.
The servicemen have conducted more than 100,000 missions using this module.
“Mission Control facilitates the automation of drone accounting and information processing. It simplifies the management of units, increases the efficiency and safety of operations,” says the developer.
Delta itself provides a three-dimensional understanding of the battle space in real time, integrates information about the enemy from various sensors and sources, including intelligence, on a digital map, does not require additional settings, and can be used on any device – laptop, tablet or mobile phone.
It is enough to have an Internet connection, log in and use the digital map. The system collects data from dozens of sources, including drone reconnaissance, satellite images, radio intercepts, and more.
