Ukrainian troops hit Russian guns in the Kherson sector.
The defenders used FPV drones to attack enemy weapons.
Ukrainian soldier Robert Brovdi, call sign Magyar, posted a video of the drone operators’ combat work.
The kamikaze drones hit the 2A36 Giatsint-B 152-mm towed guns.
The enemy artillery was discovered in camouflaged positions between the trees.
The video does not capture any enemy personnel near the guns who could have countered the drones. It is likely that the Russians were confident that their artillery was not being detected.
This allowed Ukrainian FPV operators to fly around the guns and select the places of impact on the artillery systems to disable them. A total of four Russian guns were destroyed.
Soviet-era 152mm Giatsint-B towed guns are designed to suppress and destroy enemy manpower, firepower, and military equipment.
Ukrainian border guards recently destroyed four units of Russian towed howitzers at different locations in the Kharkiv region.
FPV drones were also used to destroy enemy artillery systems.
Operators of the Steel Frontier brigade operated the kamikaze drones.
The Ukrainian soldiers hit two D-20 152mm gun-howitzers, one 100 mm MT-12 Rapier anti-tank gun, and a D-30 122mm howitzer, although the latter is difficult to identify due to poor image quality.
