Ukrainian defenders destroyed a Russian 2S3 Akatsiya self-propelled gun in the Donetsk region.

Soldiers of the 47th Mechanized Brigade detected the Russian self-propelled gun in the area of Stepove, north of the temporarily occupied Avdiivka.

A 2S3 self-propelled gun was destroyed on the move using an FPV drone controlled by an operator of the 109th Independent Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces.

After a successful drone hit, a fire broke out on board the Akatsiya gun, which led to the instant detonation of the ammunition inside.

The powerful explosion, which was captured on video by a Ukrainian drone, led to the complete destruction of the self-propelled gun and its crew, who were inside while it was moving.

“Teamwork that has yielded a great result,” the 47th Brigade emphasized.

Previously, the operators of the FPV Drone Group “Muramasa” of the 109th Territorial Defense Brigade destroyed the Msta-S self-propelled howitzer of the Russian invaders in the Donetsk region.

A Ukrainian drone caught up with a howitzer at night while it was driving on the highway and hit it.

After being hit by one or more FPVs, the Russian Msta-S caught fire. The flames engulfed the entire artillery system, leading to its destruction. It is unknown what happened to the Russian crew.
