Ukrainian drones have put a Russian oil depot in Velikiye Luki out of operation.
Satellite images of the aftermath show that half of the facility’s fuel storage tanks were destroyed, according to Dnipro Osint.
“Nearly all the tanks were damaged by fire, and half of them were completely destroyed,” OSINT analysts reported.
Ukrainian drones struck an oil depot in the city of Velikiye Luki on the night of February 19.
The Russians had fitted the facility’s fuel storage tanks with anti-drone protective structures, but this did not help.
The strike targeted the Velikolukskaya Oil Depot, owned by Pskovnefteprodukt LLC.
The oil depot stores petroleum products – diesel fuel, gasoline, and other types of fuel – for further shipment and distribution through gas station networks, as well as for supply to enterprises and transport companies.
