The Security Service of Ukraine published a photo of the liberated from the Russian invaders city of Izium, Kharkiv region.

Photos featuring soldiers, trophy weapons and equipment were released by the press service.

After the escape, the Russians abandoned a large amount of various military equipment and ammunition.

“Our defenders advise starting this morning with Izium (literally meaning “raisins”). They say it is good for health,” the Security Service of Ukraine wrote.

“However, the Russian invaders, under the pressure of Ukrainian soldiers, are fleeing in such a way that they leave behind entire arsenals of ammunition.

We know what to do with them and will definitely use them for their intended purpose, – against the enemy,” the Security Service of Ukraine emphasized.

The released pictures feature the Novator armored vehicle with Ukrainian soldiers and many trophy boxes with ammunition. Among them, anti-tank and anti-personnel mines can be seen.

On Sunday, an officer of the 95th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yurii Kochevenko released a video featuring the center of the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region.

He said that the Ukrainian servicemen entered the city and the liberation of the settlement from the Russian invaders is ongoing.

In the description of the video, he wrote: “Izium. We liberate ours. We can already talk about the liberation of the city.”

“Everything around is destroyed, but whatever. We will restore everything, and Izium was, is and will be Ukraine,” Kochevenko said.

Izium has been under the occupation of Russian troops since the beginning of April. Before the capture of the city, there were heavy battles and there was a blockade of the settlement.
